I was told a refund would be sent to me by check and take 8 weeks at the end of May. It has now been over 13 weeks and nobody has replied to my emails at info@laforgeoptical.com when i requested an update. Can I get an update on this issue?

I believe I've waited past the two months initially predicted. These are the last two communications I've had with LaForge over email. I've received no email response since May; before the shutdown and suspending of LF's refund policy.
Initially I should've been entitled to the refund as I had requested it before the suspension, but I felt I'd be reasonable and wait. It's now December and there's still no word on when/ if I'll receive my refund. Please @Corey | Founder | give me my refund. I've waited long enough for these glasses. I know you've waited much longer to get your dream to reality, but not everyone can share your enthusiasm and perseverance; especially with the lack of updates over the last SEVERAL years.
I get running a company is busy, and that you may not have time every week to send an update, but a few words once every month doesn't take much; a hour block in your calendar at most and would help people like me from giving up on such a dream. Please honor my refund.
I'll just hope I guess to receive my refund in the next few weeks, given what I've gone through I would STRONGLY encourage anyone else looking to buy these glasses to look elsewhere. I've spent over two years waiting for my pair and have yet to receive any proof that Alpha Rev0 has ever shipped or even exists. I've left messages on this forum before, being skeptical of the timeline, but now It has gotten ridiculous. I'll leave a comment here in this forum, along with create a new thread to this post doesn't get lost.

Like everyone, I’ve been going through a tough time and recently lost my job. I’d really appreciate getting this money back as soon as possible.. at least to put it towards the bills I have ahead of me.

Just leaving a comment here in this thread that I've just submitted my refund request as of 26th May, 2020.
I never locked in my pre-order and so should be entitled to my refund.

Yes. They are saying mid November.
Have you gotten anywhere with the suppliers? You described the same situation in September and said that you would have the funds around the second week of October.

We have your request and I have received your text message. As for now, all refund requests are being held up by a supplier. We have deposited those funds with them and been struggling to get them to release them. We have entered into negotiations to release those funds, they have suggested Mid-November. This is the best I can do for now.

First, I'd like to apologize for your experience. Here's what's going on. We have focused the team on product development and fundraising (thus taking people away from customer service). Typically, we refund pre-orders within 24 hours however we have placed most of those funds in the hands of suppliers so we can bring the product to market. We made this decision because processing refunds that old takes a considerable amount of time (as we have to contact multiple banks, credit card processors, etc.) We are asking that you allow us a bit more either pull those funds back from suppliers. If you would like, I can arrange a phone call to give you a forecast on when that will be.
