Maybe they'll be better than the current Vuzix top model?

True. I don't like the look of the bulk where it goes over the ear...

Still VERY bulky, and that projection doesn't look very promissing. I'm certainly a bigger fan of the implementation envisioned for the Shimas...

It looks closer to what I ultimately would like. But I'd need to wear them to see how well the projection is on the lens.
I'm right-eye dominant in my perception of the world, so if it project only on the left eye I'm going to have a hard time switching my visual focus.
Also....those 2 big camera's near the glasses wing tips. Never like that design. When Snapchat was selling them, I felt my internal soul cringe. It makes sense for construction, I guess...but jesus, they are huge. Maybe put a good solid camera in the middle and then 2 lights at the wing tips instead?

Now that I've seen the new HOLO designs, this Vuzix Shield is looking very attractive. They look more like glasses and are no more bulky.

I'm wondering if they are using any LAFORGE IP? Is LAFORGE making anything off of this?
