Milestone: LAFORGE Optical Granted First US Patent
The thing about starting a hardware startup is that some tasks take a relatively long time to complete. Today, I am proud to announce that on February 20th, 2018, the company was granted its first patent. This patent was originally filed in February 2015, when the company was just 3 months old. This patent teaches key methods and techniques to produce ophthalmic lenses and eyewear frame architectures that are lightweight while enabling AR features. Bill and I worked many hour
